Hi, I'm Farrah!

A (soon to be) graduate of the University of Arizona in Computer Science and Game Design and Development. I'm currently on the lookout for full-time opportunities as a Software Developer or Game Designer for Summer/Fall 2024.I got into Game Design through my love for Technology and Creativity. So much goes into creating a game and I want to learn how to do every part of it. I love designing and thinking about the intricate details of things. I'm passionate about creating projects that are engaging, impactful, and creative.

Daily Wildcat Illustrations

The following are digital illustrations
I've created for the University of Arizona's
Student Run Newspaper, The Daily Wildcat.

As a member of the Comics Desk, I take requests for illustrations from the Comics Desk Editor. I then create my illustration in Procreate and return it to the Editor for feedback. Once it's approved, it goes with the article when it comes out.In December 2022, I was presented with the "Rising Star" award by The Daily Wildcat for Initiative and Promise.Note: While all the following illustrations were created for paper, not all are connected to an article due to the article not being released.

Illustration and Icons created for the 2022 Midterm Election Edition.

Digital Art

The following are digital illustrations I've created in my free time.

Drawing has been important to me since I was in elementary school. I distinctly remember being in my gifted class drawing during our free time. My teacher came over to me and asked me to stop and participate in another activity that was more "intellectual". The stigma that art isn't intelligent or a useful skill continues to exist today. Artists are fighting to prove the worth of their creations and the rise of Generative AI has intensified this struggle. Art is intellectual and integral to all parts of our lives. The Arts deserve to be protected.
